John Ford died years before I was born, but I still learned a lot from him about being an artist. He didn't write a book about making movies, so the only way to understand him is to wade through biographies and watch roughly one hundred films. I want to be like Ford, but something I must to do differently is to share my knowledge and ideas more openly than he did. My name is Charles Beckwith and I am a filmmaker and fashion photographer.
I shot a test with a fantastic new model last week, Cristina from Supreme. I did the wardrobe styling myself, with a little help from the model. The hair and makeup were done by Mark Weiss.
